Welcome to the official website for Mr. Chafe and his middle school gremlins! All year long the gremlins will be writing stories, poems, articles, reports and anything else they wish to share, and Mr. Chafe will be posting them for the world to read. Check out how awesome they are. You'll soon discover that these guys have a lot to say. 

News:
11/01/13 We have just gotten to two very important (to me) milestones! We have completed our first full month at this site and it hasn't crashed once! It really is the little things in life that bring me joy. The other milestone is that the gremlins were able to publish something every weekday in October. How awesome is that?

Most of this month will be dedicated to publishing cinquains. Cinquains are poems with five lines that follow a pattern. I like to think of them as haiku's younger brother.

10/04/13 I just wanted to express my deepest thanks to everyone who has taken the time to visit our site. It has only been a few weeks in the making, and already we are getting a ton of traffic every day. And have you checked out how many comments we have? Thanks everyone for making this a fun and supportive community!

9/26/13 And we are caught up! More than caught up, actually. We've posted a new story by Izy just this morning.

9/25/13 Welcome to the new website. Because of stability issues with the last website, we have officially relocated to blogger. I know a lot of you have taken the time to comment on the last site, and I'm sorry to say that I can't bring those with us. 

Don't let this discourage you! I'll be reconstructing the site, we will be posting every day until we are caught back up. 

I would really like to encourage you to post your comments again or to compose new comments. The students have really loved how excited the whole community is about their work.
